Job Title: Part Time Grounds Maintenance

Copper Hill Golf Club is excited to announce the opportunity of part-time grounds maintenance staff for the 2025 season.   Qualified candidates will operate  in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities of Grounds Maintenance

• Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Operate mid-size mowing equipment
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for Grounds Maintenance

• Must have a valid driver's license and transportation

Position is available starting late April to early May and is 20 to 30 hours per week.   Experience preferred but will train.

$16 - $17 per hour depending on experience
Free Golf (minimum of 25 hours per week)

Job Title: Golf Shop Attendant

Location: Copper Hill Golf Club

Position Type: Part-Time (12-20 hours per week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Shop Attendant at our nine-hole golf course. As a key member of our staff, you will help create an enjoyable experience for our guests by assisting with golf cart rentals, performing golf shop operations, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet golfers and provide them with golf carts, ensuring carts are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Monitor the condition of carts and report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Assist golfers with questions regarding the course, tee times, and equipment.
• Ensure proper use of carts and maintain a safe, friendly environment on the course.
• Assist customers with purchases of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories.
• Answer phone calls, schedule tee times, and manage bookings.
• Maintain an organized and clean golf shop, including shelving, displays, and inventory.
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering information and advice about the course, events, and promotions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed (e.g., sweeping, trash removal).
• Assist in opening and closing the golf shop, including securing the premises.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Must be able to lift and carry golf bags and occasionally move carts or equipment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in a customer service role, retail, or golf course environment is a plus.

Hours & Schedule:

• Part-time position with 12-20 hours per week.
• Weekend availability required.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly $16.25 per hour, plus any applicable tips.

Job Title: Golf Range Employee

Location: Copper Hill Golf Club

Hours: 12-20 hours per week

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and reliable individual to join our team as a Golf Range Employee. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining the golf range, assisting customers, and performing various grounds keeping and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Range Maintenance: Picking range ball with range picker, cleaning balls, and ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
• Customer Service: Assist golfers with range-related needs, answer questions, and maintain a positive, friendly atmosphere for all customers.
• Golf Cart Management: Park and retrieve golf carts, ensuring they are clean, and ready for use.
• Grounds keeping: Mowing grass on the range, weeding, and performing general landscaping and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is tidy and safe.
• General Maintenance: Assist with other duties such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment or the facility.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Be ready to support the team with any additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid permit or driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 60lbs, perform outdoor work, and stand for extended periods.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus.
• Interest in golf or grounds maintenance is a bonus, but not required.

Schedule:

• Flexible hours between 12-20 hours per week. Evening and weekend availability preferred.
