Do I need
to sign up in advance?
It is very helpful for us in planning
if we know in advance if you will be playing. In order to guarantee
a spot, we do need 48 hours notice. We will make pairings during
the day on Tuesday. For Wednesday afternoon league dates, we will
need confirmation either online or by phone at 653-7272 by 7:00
PM Monday night. Walk-on entries will be accepted on a space available
basis

Does
my child need equipment to participate?
Yes. If you do not currently have
equipment, we rent junior sets (all sizes) for the week for an
additional $5 charge for the day. Please call or check our online
store as we have many options. It is important that the clubs
are fit to your child, an improper fit will make for a frustrating
experience.

Where
can I purchase junior golf equipment?
You can purchase golf equipment through
Copper Hill Golf Acaedemy at any of our locations or online at
www.copperhillgolf.com/catalog
in our opinion the time invested in choosing the right golf clubs
is easily as important as the time invested in learning to play.

What
should my child bring with him/her to the program?
We recommend a water bottle, a hat,
sunscreen, and a positive attitude. Balls, tees, equipment are
not included unless requested. We will provide a snack for after
the round. Balls and tees for use on the golf course are
available at the Academy or in our online store.

What
is the day's schedule?
Players may arrive early to warm
up or hit balls. Check-in will begin at 12:00 noon. If you are
pre-enrolled, you can get your tee time online at copperhillgolf.com
We will conduct a short clinic each week at 12:30, tee times will
generally begin just after 1:00. Parents should expect that their
junior will be done playing approximately 2 1/2 hours after their
tee time.

My child
has significant playing experience. Is this program appropriate?
Our mission with the junior golf
league is to provide semi-competitive playing experiences for
those that have minimal to moderate playing experience. It is
also a very good opportunity for more advanced players who currently
play competitively to practice their 'competition' skills on the
course.

Can beginners
be in the league?
This is not a league for those who
have never played golf. Players must have some golf experience,
and preferably some instructional background.
Can
I request that my child plays with a certain group of friends?
Because of the nature of some of
the team events, and in the spirit of a 'golf league', we cannot
guarantee requests like this. We will however, attempt to pair
groups close to each other for car-pooling purposes.

up in terms of age and playing ability?

age and playing ability. For team events, players will be flighted.

Who is in charge of the
program?
Paul Banks, PGA Professional and owner of Copper
Hill Golf Academy, and staff, will be in charge of the program.
Do I have to play every
week?
No, but it is very helpful to know at least 48
hours in advance if you plan on playing. You can play as often
or as little as you would like, keeping in mind that individual
points are accumlated, so those that play more often are more
likely to accumlate more points.
Is there a date/time
deadline to sign up each week?
We request that you notify us by Monday 7:00 pm
before the Wednesday league date. Walkups are welcome on a space
available basis.

included in the price of the league. In addition, staff is on
the golf course with the players, coaching them through playing
situations, rules questions, and monitoring etiquette.

What happens
if it rains?
The camp will take place in light
or medium rain, hot, cold, and wind, but will not take place if

be no makeup, and the money will be refunded.

There are range balls available for
purchase before the league.

child stay after the program and practice or play?
